Titans Announce 2025 Schedule

More news about: UW-Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh football team released its 2025 schedule on Tuesday (March 11).

The Titans' 10-game regular season schedule features five games at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium, including the nonconference finale on September 20.

Head coach Peter Jennings enters his fourth season at the helm of the program with an 18-12 overall record and a 12-8 mark in conference play. Oshkosh will compete for its 12th WIAC title in the fall and the first since sharing the 2019 title with UW-Whitewater.

The Titans finished the 2024 season with a 6-4 (4-3 WIAC) record. Twelve Titans were named All-WIAC including three-time honoree Trae TetzlaffJohn Schirger paced Oshkosh's D3football.com All-Region mentions with a first team nod before earning All-America status from the American Football Coaches Association (first team), Associated Press (second team), and Walter Camp Football Federation (inaugural Division III team).

UW-Oshkosh will play three 2024 conference champions and four NCAA Division III playoff qualifiers.

The Titans open the season on September 6 in McMinnville, Ore. at Linfield University. Oshkosh and the Wildcats have met twice before and the Titans won both contests in overtime. The teams played for the first time in the 2012 Division III Quarterfinals in McMinnville with Oshkosh taking a 31-24 win. The Titans hosted the Wildcats last season, winning 28-21 on September 14.

The following week, Oshkosh travels to Naperville, Ill. to face North Central College, the defending national champion. In another third meeting with an opponent, the Titans look to break at 1-1 all-time tie. The first game was a 21-0 victory for the Cardinals during the 1930 season. After an 87-year break, UW-Oshkosh hosted North Central in the second round of the 2017 Division III Championship, leaving J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium with a 42-21 win.

Oshkosh closes its nonconference slate with a home game against NCAA Division II program Roosevelt University (Ill.) on September 20 and looks for its first win over the non-divisional opponent.

After the bye week, the Titans will host UW-River Falls in their WIAC opener on October 4 for Hall of Fame Day where the 2025 UW-Oshkosh Athletics Hall of Fame class will be introduced to Titan Nation.

Additional home conference games include an October 18 homecoming matchup with UW-Eau Claire and contests against UW-Stevens Point and UW-Whitewater in the final two weeks of the regular season on November 8 and November 15 respectively.

UW-Oshkosh travels to UW-Stout (October 11), UW-La Crosse (October 25), and UW-Platteville (November 1) for conference competition.
