Here are some great plays which deserved extra mention:
Down six with less than 90 seconds to play, Salisbury needed to convert on fourth-and-15 to keep their season alive. Ryan Jones looked downfield to senior Isaiah Taylor, who made an amazing one-handed grab for a 51-yard gain to keep the contest going. Two plays later, Taylor caught the game-winning touchdown helping Salisbury to NJAC automatic bid. |
Kennedy Johnson returned two punts for touchdowns vs. Pacific Lutheran. This is the second one, a 53-yarder in Linfield's 38-10 win. More impressive because, well, it was the second one! They had to know he could go all the way and he did not give in. |
Augsburg lineman Bob Rose took a lateral from Ayrton Scott and rambled for a 3-yard touchdown run on the final play of the first half, tying the game at 28-28. Augsburg won the wild game 49-42 over Bethel, rallying with 21 straight points to end the game. |
