Offense

QB Alex Tanney, Fr., Monmouth
Tanney led the Fighting Scots to a 42-14 season-ending road win over rival Knox on Saturday. The freshman quarterback completed 24 of 29 passes for 309 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions. Tanney completed passes to 10 receivers on the afternoon.

OL James Arnold, Glenn Revell, Ryan Hunter, Jordan Daniel, Brian Fitzgerald, Hardin-Simmons
The Cowboys rolled up 600 yards of total offense in a 63-34 win over Texas Lutheran. The offensive line helped pave the way for 9.4 yards per carry, as well as protected the quarterbacks for 22-of-25 passing.

RB Andy Moriarty, Sr., UW-Oshkosh
Moriarty totaled 370 of UW-Oshkosh's 420 yards from scrimmage as the Titans posted a 35-20 victory over UW-Platteville. He rushed 40 times for 314 yards and three touchdowns while catching two passes for 56 yards.

RB Tyler Sherden, Sr., Luther
Sherden set the Luther single game rushing record with 297 yards. He took opening snap 24 yards for a touchdown and the final snap 25 yards for a touchdown as Luther defeated Simpson 47-41 in double overtime. Sherden
tallied 413 all-purpose yards for the afternoon.

WR Chris Joyce, Sr., Bridgewater State
Joyce caught 10 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns as the Bears defeated Mass Maritime Academy, 38-31, in the 29th Annual Cranberry Bowl. He hauled in an 8-yard TD pass in the second quarter and then capped things
off with another 8-yard touchdown with just nine seconds remaining in the game.

WR Jake Allen, Sr., Mississippi College
Allen hauled in seven passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-10 win over Howard Payne. His scoring receptions were for 69, 11 and 50 yards.

AP Jacob McDonnell, So., Macalester
McDonnell finished with 364 yards from scrimmage to help Macalester establish school records with 628 total yards and 25 first downs in a 62-42 win against Crown. He had 257 rushing yards and four TDs on 29 carries, and 107 receiving yards and two scores on seven receptions.

Defense

DL Mike Poplaski, Sr., Colby
With Tufts leading 16-13, Poplaski scored the game-winning points with a 25-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown as the Mules won 19-16 over the Jumbos, who were tied for first in the NESCAC heading into the game. He also recovered a second fumble with 16 seconds left as Tufts tried to drive the field to tie or win the game. Also in the fourth quarter, Poplaski had a key 11-yard sack on a third down play that forced a Tufts punt.

DL Rohan Malcolm, Jr., Dubuque
Malcolm had nine tackles (seven solo) and a Division III season-high five sacks for a loss of 31 yards against Buena Vista.

DL Clay Ream, Sr., Marietta
Ream had a career-high 12 tackles (five solo) and three sacks against Wilmington. He also forced a fumble and had 4.5 tackles for loss and two hurries in the win.

LB Jerrell Freeman, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Freeman recorded 11 tackles (four solo, two for loss), two sacks, a blocked kick and a blocked punt that he returned himself for a touchdown during an ASC title-clinching 72-7 win over East Texas Baptist. One of his sacks forced a fumble that was picked up by a teammate and taken back for a score.

LB Kyle Williams, So., Trinity (Conn.)
Williams had 11 tackles (eight solo), two tackles for a loss, a sack, and caused a fumble in Trinity's 13-9 win over Amherst. He also blocked a 30-yard field goal attempt.

LB Markas Brunson, So., Guilford
Brunson, the ODAC defensive player of the week, recorded 13 tackles (nine solo), two tackles for a loss, and one sack in a 34-27 win over Catholic. He recovered a blocked 18-yard field goal and returned it 88 yards with 1:24
left in the game resulting in the game's final margin. Brunson also forced a Catholic fumble on the Quakers' 2-yard line with 36 seconds left in the game, which Guilford recovered to preserve its lead.

LB Courtney Pearson, Jr., Tri-State
Pearson led the defensive effort with a game high 17 tackles (eight solo). Tri-State yielded only 60 yards rushing to Wisconsin Lutheran. He also had three tackles for a loss and one pass breakup.

DB Phil Entel, Sr., Whitworth
Entel had three of Whitworth's five interceptions, returning one 32 yards for the game's only touchdown in the Pirates' 10-6 win over Linfield that clinched a second straight NWC title.

DB Sean Simpson, Jr., Rochester
In addition to his career high 15 tackles -- and two two sacks -- Simpson blocked a 28-yard field goal attempt five minutes into the fourth quarter that kept Rochester within striking distance at 21-19. The Yellowjackets scored with 5:24 to go and beat No. 20 RPI, 25-21, in Troy for the first time since 1991.

DB Bryan Albani, So., Wooster
All three of Albani's interceptions came during the first half, as he returned the first 55 yards for a touchdown and the other two gave Wooster's offense a short field to work with and also resulted in touchdowns.

DB Keith Snyder, Jr., Defiance
Snyder tied a Defiance single-game record with three interceptions and also recorded a game high 10 tackles (five solo). He also forced a fumble.

Special teams

K Joel Munoz, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
Munoz hit all eight of his extra points and went 3-for-4 on field goals to post 17 total points. His only miss was from 52 yards and is his first missed field goal of the year. He made field goals were from 48, 30, and 49 yards.

P Rob Berger, Fr., St. Norbert
Berger's 47.4-yard punting average proved to be pivotal in the Green Knights' 31-24 win over Illinois College. The freshman punter placed three punts inside the Blueboys' 20-yard line, as Illinois College's average starting field position in the game was its own 25-yard line. A pair of Berger's punts were also downed at the Blueboy 1-yard line in the second half.

RET Eric Donoval, Jr., UW-La Crosse
Donoval had two kickoff returns for 157 yards, including an 80-yard touchdown in the first quarter in UW-L's 49-34 victory at UW-River Falls. He also had one punt return for 12 yards. Donoval also scored on a 19-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.
